What Types of Reports Can I Generate in SAM?

SAM (System for Award Management) provides users with the ability to generate various types of reports to manage and analyze their registration and compliance data. The types of reports you can generate in SAM include:

  1. Entity Registration Report:
    • This report provides a summary of your entity’s registration details, including information such as your D-U-N-S Number, legal business name, and points of contact.
  2. Exclusion Report:
    • The exclusion report allows you to view information about individuals or entities that have been excluded or debarred from federal contracting or grant activities. It can help you ensure that you are not engaging with prohibited entities.
  3. Status Report:
  4. Reps and Certs Report:
    • This report contains information about the representations and certifications you have made as part of your SAM registration. It includes details about your compliance with various federal regulations and requirements.
  5. Disaster Response Registry Report:
    • If you have registered in SAM for disaster response purposes, this report provides information about your registration in the Disaster Response Registry. It includes details about your capacity and capabilities to provide disaster-related services.
  6. Federal Assistance FAPIIS Report:
    • This report includes information about any past performance information available in the Federal Awardee Performance and Integrity Information System (FAPIIS). It can be used to review your organization’s past performance on federal contracts and grants.
  7. Subaward Reporting System (FSRS) Report:
    • The Subaward Reporting System (FSRS) report allows you to view information about subawards you have received or made under federal assistance awards. It helps you track and report subaward data as required by federal regulations.
  8. Government Shared Services Data (GSSD) Report:
    • This report provides data related to shared services used by your entity, such as data from the Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS).
  9. D-U-N-S Number Report:  (Now UEI)
    • The D-U-N-S Number report includes information about your entity’s Data Universal Numbering System (D-U-N-S) Number, which is a unique identifier for your organization. It can be used for validation and verification purposes.
  10. Payment Report:
    • SAM allows users to generate payment reports related to the Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) information provided during registration. This report may include banking information and payment details.

These reports are essential for managing your entity’s registration, ensuring compliance with federal requirements, and making informed decisions when pursuing federal contracts or grants. The availability and specific details of these reports may vary based on your entity’s registration and the information you have provided in SAM.
